Physical Protection of Critical Infrastructure

UltraSea develops physical barrier systems against UUVs (Unmanned Underwater Vehicles), USVs and saboteurs. Our systems provide a versatile and environmentally conscious defence mechanism that actively stops threats — not merely detects them.

The system protects both above and below the waterline via a retractable net that is stored above the water surface when not in use. This minimises maintenance requirements and ecological impact. Upon activation, the net deploys rapidly from surface to seabed, providing complete water-column protection.

Multidomain protection: the Fitted Drone Screen (FDS)

Our WSB provides unparallelled kinetic protection against surface and subsurface attacks. The modern threat landscape, however, increasingly involves Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and loitering munitions — lightweight aerial assets that attempt to bypass traditional perimeters by air. The MacShield Fitted Drone Screen (FDS) closes this critical vulnerability by establishing a robust, overhead kinetic shield.

By creating a stand-off physical barrier, the FDS intercepts FPV drones and neutralises lightweight explosive payloads before they can damage the superstructure or critical parts.
